Aruba's slogan is “One Happy Island”
The One Happy Island is known for its dazzling white, sandy beaches, turquoise ocean, sunshine all year around, and friendly people.

Oranjestad is a feast for the eyes. The Dutch style architecture, facades painted in pastel colors, blue horses all over the town are signature characteristics of Oranjestad.
We have been to Aruba several times already so this time we didn’t book any excursions. We just went for a stroll on our own.
Today we had the first folkloric show on the cruise. Royal invited some local performers, musicians and dancers, and we had great entertainment on board of the ship.
In the evening we celebrated one of our friend’s birthday. We went to Chop’s Grill, then we danced for the rest of the night. We started on deck 11 Dancing Under the Stars, then we moved to the Center on deck 4. Finally we finished in the Vortex lounge on deck 13 💃🏻🕺🏼🥂🎂 That was a fun night!
Fun fact: Did you know that the shock (owl) is the national symbol of Aruba?
PS. I found in one of the stores the Dutch cookies that they sell only around Christmas time so of course I got it and ate it all by myself.
