Hi there! I'm Kasia, and I am going on a world cruise.

Born and raised in communist Poland. Lived in liberal Netherlands for 11 years. Moved to conservative US in 2000. Florida (the only state I lived in so far) is especially conservative.

I miss the Dutch directness when I didn’t have to read between her lines, where I could speak up my mind. I miss Polish hospitality. We even have a saying “Gosc w dom, Bog w dom” which translates to “ A guest in the house is God in the house.”. Now we will live onboard of the cruise ship of the Serenade of the Seas for the next 9 months. It will be interesting to observe the dynamics of life with the same group of people, some of which are very set in their ways, very opinionated, very spoiled and entitled.

I embrace the differences and diversity, and I’m looking forward to meet all the interesting, open minded travelers that I can share my experiences with. Looking forward to unforgettable times and once in a lifetime moments.
