Today we went to see the spectacular Mt. Fuji in all her glory.

Mount Fuji is Japan's most famous mountain, an iconic landmark, and has been worshiped as a holy place in Japan. It is also one of the famous mountains in the world. Its snow-capped peak and symmetrical cone shape have inspired countless artists, writers and adventurers throughout history.

It is the highest mountain in Japan, standing at 12,388 feet (3776 meters), and boasts a symmetrical conical shape. This peak is one of the most recognizable mountains in the world and holds cultural significance as a sacred symbol of Japan.

 

Interesting fact about Mt. Fuji:

Climbing Mt. Fuji is challenging and women were not allowed to climb Mount Fuji until 1868.

Climbing is only permitted in July and August.
