Ushuaia, Argentina Day 2
Ushuaia has lots to offer, the Beagle Channel (we did this excursion today), Tierra Del Fuego National Park (we visited yesterday), hiking, kayaking, glaciers, wildlife, all sorts of outdoor activities for nature lovers. I wish we had more time to explore this beautiful, pristine place.
Sailing from Ushuaia through the Beagle Chanel we were enjoying the mesmerizing beauty and dramatic scenery from our balcony. We passed through area called Galcier Alley. The passage features impressive tidewater glaciers flowing down the mountains. They are named after European countries - Holland, Italy, Germany, Spain and France.

It’s summer time here in this part of the world at the moment and everything is blooming, lush and green. All animals having offspring, we saw many baby penguins, baby Albatrosses, baby horses etc.
The summer temperatures are COLDl Always COLD lol.
We were lucky with the beautiful, sunny weather and higher than usual temperatures.
Today was 55F and the locals were saying it’s a very warm day. Average temperature is 46-49F in the summer.
After the excursion we went to grab a lunch in one of the very popular, local restaurants. It was packed! Then we had some pastries from the local bakery (again!) and Artur got his haircut at the local Barber Shop! That was new.
We were little sad leaving this afternoon. Part of my heart stayed in Ushuaia.
