Ushuaia, Argentina

Cruising from Antarctica through Patagonian Fjords, it fills your traveler spirit with pride.
The breathtaking scenery of the majestic snow capped mountains, pristine national forests, crispy air and beautiful bodies of water everywhere. The incredible tones of these cold waters mix with the mesmerizing beauty of the Andes. The panoramic view of the massive mountain range is simply epic.

Bienvenidos a la fin del mundo’ – welcome to the end of the world – is what you hear a lot in Ushuaia, it being the most Southerly city in the world and where all roads end.

We have spent almost two days in Ushuaia and we have only skimmed this nature paradise.
We had excursions both days and both were fabulous.
The first day we went to the Tierra Del Fuego National Park to experience the untouched beauty of the Patagonian flora and fauna teeming with vibrant rivers and indigenous wildlife.
The next day we had a catamaran excursion into the Beagle Channel. From Ushuaia Bay we went by catamaran, stopping for pictures of sea lions and birds before finishing up at a lighthouse that signals you've arrived at the end of the world. That was epic!

In the afternoon on the first day, we went for dinner to an Argentinian steak house. We had the best lamb and many other delicious cuts of steak, pork, sausage etc.
On the second day we had lunch at a local restaurant where people are lining up for the tables one house before the restaurant even opens. After that we stopped at the bakery to try fresh pastries. I have to say that all the food was much tastier than on the ship in MDR. Sorry, not sorry!

We loved Ushuaia, and we would like to come back again to do the Antarctica expedition trip from here. One of the main reasons to come to Ushuaia is to get on a boat to the Antarctica.

I will add more pictures from today in the second post.
