Osaka, Japan
Our last day in Japan did have a day allocated to discovering Osaka.
This morning started very gray and cloudy, with a chance for rain. Not the best weather for sightseeing and taking pictures.
By the time we got to the Osaka castle the sun came out and we had beautiful, sunny weather while exploring the castle and gardens.
The castle is reconstructed and turned into a museum. An observation deck provides a panoramic view of Osaka.
Next stop was Dotonbori.
This is a popular entertainment district in Osaka, known for its nightlife, neon signs and the enormous variety of restaurants and bars.
We had wonderful authentic Japanese lunch over there and after that we went to Osaka Aquarium.
This is one of the largest aquariums in the world. Has 5.4 million liters of water and 29,000 animals from the Pacific Ocean.
We saw some new species we never saw before in other Aquariums.
It was very relaxing end to our last day in Japan.
We had wonderful time visiting different parts of Japan, and would love to visit again and stay little longer.
