Lombok, Indonesia
We arrived in the super hot and humid afternoon.
There’s so much to do and see here in Lombok. We only had 6 hours.
Different world.
It’s Ramadan and everyone is observing. 95% of the population here is Muslim. During the day there was little traffic and felt like everyone had siesta. People lying down and napping on the job sites. In the evening after sunset however the life picked up and the streets were beaming with life, the street vendors were all selling food and the chanting from the mosques called to prayer.
Wish we had more time to visit more Buddhist temples, go to the beach with pink sand or go and snorkel to see the underwater statues.
Today is hundredth day of the cruise and we got another huge cake to celebrate!
They make sure we gain weight consistently lol
