Day 14 - Devil's Island, Fr. Guiana
We arrived in French Guiana early this morning. We won’t be getting off the ship because of high swells, rough sea, rain, fog etc. Generally it’s to dangerous, the captain announced when I was getting dressed for the excursion. This was a supposed to be tender port for us, and since most passengers are of ripe age this would be just too dangerous. Well… that SUCKS! I was sooo looking forward to visiting this place.
So I decided quickly to change clothes once again and went to the gym instead. It’s was pouring rain and the ship was rocking a lot. Not many people in the gym, nobody by the pool, the ship looks ghosted. The staff that usually stamps the journals for doing the Walk around the World every morning wasn’t even there either. Too windy, too wet, not many were walking this morning.
Another day at sea I guess ☹️
Going to the sauna! Ta-ta!
