Going back to our trip to Cusco…
When we arrived in Cusco our first stop after stopping for lunch, was Saqsaywaman.
The archaeological site is located only about 15 min. from the main square of Cusco.
Is a citadel on the northern outskirts of the city of Cusco, Peru, the historic capital of the Inca Empire. The site is at an altitude of 12,142 ft (3,701 m).
The complex was built by the Incas in the 15th century.
